Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 15.06.2026
Organisely is committed to safeguarding your privacy in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, and protect your personal information through my website, services, and other interactions.
Laura Young, founder of Organisely, is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) on the Public Register of Data Protection Controllers.
This Privacy Policy outlines the lawful bases on which your personal data is processed. Where consent is required for a specific activity, such as recordings, photographs, testimonials, or marketing communications, your consent will be obtained before the activity takes place. Such consent will normally be obtained in writing. Any verbal consent relied upon will be documented in the client record. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting contact@organisely.co.uk.
I reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy, with any changes effective as of the updated date above. Any significant changes will be reflected in the updated version published on my website.
Most personal data is processed on the basis of contract (to provide organising and coaching services), legitimate interests (to operate and improve Organisely), or consent where required, such as for recordings, testimonials, photographs, and marketing communications.
Organisely's services are intended for individuals aged 18 years and over. Personal data is not knowingly collected from individuals under the age of 18. If I become aware that personal data has been provided by an individual under the age of 18, I will take reasonable steps to delete that information unless I am required to retain it by law.
1. Information I Collect
I may collect and process the following personal data:
- Identification Information: Name, email address, phone number, and home address.
- Website Usage Data: Such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and general site activity. This is collected automatically through essential cookies and similar technologies to ensure the website functions properly and securely. This data does not directly identify you.
- Communication Data: Emails, enquiries, and messages you send to me.
- Payment Details: I collect basic payment information such as your name, email address, and details necessary to process transactions. I do not store your full card or bank information; payments are securely handled by my payment provider, GoCardless.
- Appointment & Scheduling Information: Details such as your name, email address, and booking preferences are collected when you schedule sessions using my booking system. This information is used to manage appointments and communicate with you.
- Demographics: Job title and age may be requested to help tailor my services. This information supports service delivery. If used for marketing purposes, your written consent will be obtained.
- Qualitative Data: Information such as your interests, lifestyle, preferences, goals and circumstances. This information is used to deliver and personalise my services. If it is ever used for marketing purposes, your written consent will be obtained.
- Session Information: Personal details you share—such as your goals, health, or lifestyle—along with information discussed or observed during sessions (including in-home visits), as well as session dates and notes taken during or after sessions, are used to support your sessions and the delivery of my organising and coaching services. This may include sensitive personal information, which is handled with appropriate care and confidentiality.
- Client Platform Information: Information provided through CoachAccountable, including questionnaires, worksheets, messages, session notes, goals, session links, and other coaching-related information. This information is used to support the delivery of my organising and coaching services and is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

- Session Recordings: Where you have given written consent, sessions may be recorded. These recordings, along with any transcripts, may be used for supervision, professional development, or credentialing purposes. Where possible, recordings will be anonymised so that you cannot be identified. They may include your voice and image and are stored and handled securely in accordance with this policy.
- Photos: Photos may be taken during in-home sessions. Verbal consent will be obtained before taking any photos. Anonymised photos may be used for promotional purposes where no individual can be identified. Identifiable photos will only be used with written consent.
- Testimonials: Testimonials may be used for promotional purposes (e.g. website or marketing). Written consent will be obtained before any testimonial is used in Organisely's marketing materials.

Your personal data is used to:
- Deliver and personalise services.

- Process payments and maintain financial records.
- Keep internal notes to enhance session continuity, personalisation, and the effectiveness of the support provided.
- Analyse trends and patterns to improve my services and customer experience.

- Understand general website activity and usage patterns (without identifying you personally).
- Send marketing communications (with your consent).
- Use anonymised information to improve and develop my services, and to share general insights where no individual can be identified.
- Use anonymised data where possible, or identifiable data where necessary, for supervision and professional credentialing (with your consent).
- Use trusted third-party providers (such as payment processors and scheduling tools) to support service delivery where necessary.
3. Data Sharing & Disclosure
I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Confidentiality is a key part of my relationship with you, and your information will not be shared without your permission, except where required by law. Where possible, I will inform you before any such disclosure.
Your data may be shared in the following circumstances:
- If you request recommendations: I may suggest external service providers. I do not share your personal details with them unless you have given clear permission to do so. Any engagement with third-party providers is arranged directly by you and at your own discretion.
- With service providers: Trusted third parties who support service delivery, including CoachAccountable (used for client records, questionnaires, worksheets, messaging, scheduling, and session notes), payment processors, video conferencing providers, website hosting providers, and IT support services.
These providers process personal data on my behalf and are required to maintain appropriate security, confidentiality and data protection standards.
- During business transfers: If Organisely undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale, your data may be transferred but will continue to be protected under this policy.
- For supervision: Data (which may include session notes, recordings, and transcripts) may be shared with a supervisor or mentor for professional supervision and development. Where possible, information will be anonymised so that you cannot be identified. All sharing will take place with your written consent.
- For ICF credentialing: Where recordings are used for International Coaching Federation (ICF) credentialing or verification, recordings and their associated transcripts may be shared for assessment purposes. This may also require the sharing of limited personal details (such as your name, contact information, and session date). Any such sharing will only take place with your written consent.
Legal exceptions to confidentiality may include:
- Risk of serious harm to you or others
- Child protection or safeguarding concerns
- Disclosures relating to terrorism
- Legal obligations or court orders
4. International Data Transfers
Some of the third-party service providers I use may store or process personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred internationally, I take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information and that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.
For example, CoachAccountable may process data in the United States. Where required, international transfers are supported by appropriate contractual or legal safeguards designed to protect personal data.
5. Data Security & Storage
I am committed to ensuring that your information is secure. Appropriate physical, electronic, and organisational measures are in place to protect your data. While no system is completely secure, I follow best-practice data protection standards.
Session Notes:
Session notes are stored securely within CoachAccountable, my client support platform provider, and are accessed only by me unless disclosure is required by law or with your consent. These notes are used solely to support the quality, continuity, and personalisation of our work together.
CoachAccountable acts as a data processor on my behalf and applies appropriate security measures to protect stored information. I also take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is kept secure. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal or professional record-keeping requirements.
Session Recordings:
Session recordings are only made with your written consent and solely for supervision, professional development, or credentialing purposes. Where recordings are made, they are stored securely and accessed only where necessary for legitimate professional purposes. Where possible, recordings will be anonymised so that you cannot be identified. Recordings are treated with a high level of confidentiality and stored securely.
Photos and Testimonials:
Photos and testimonials are stored securely and accessed only where necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy. Where they contain personal data, they are protected in the same way as other client information and are not shared without consent unless required by law.
6. Data Retention
I retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, in line with UK GDPR. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the reason it is held.
Client Data (Legal and Administrative Purposes)
Client data is retained for up to 6 years after the end of the service relationship. This allows me to meet legal, tax, accounting, and administrative requirements. This may include:
- Financial records (e.g. invoices and payment details)
- Basic client details (e.g. name, contact information, session dates)
- Session records and client notes, which are used to support the delivery, quality and continuity of our services.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time. I will comply unless I am required to retain certain information for legal or regulatory reasons.
After the retention period, all client data is securely deleted or destroyed.
Session Recordings
Session recordings are retained only for as long as necessary for supervision, professional development, or credentialing purposes. Once this purpose has been fulfilled, recordings are securely deleted. These recordings are not retained in line with the standard client data retention period and are typically kept for a shorter, purpose-specific duration.
Marketing Data (Photos and Testimonials – Consent-Based Use)
Photographs and testimonials used for marketing purposes are retained only where written consent has been provided. This may include use after our work together has ended.
Such data may be retained and used for as long as consent remains valid, rather than being subject to a fixed retention period. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, after which the relevant images or testimonials will no longer be used and will be securely deleted where they contain personal data.
Testimonials shared publicly on third-party platforms (such as Google) are subject to the policies of those platforms. If I wish to reuse such testimonials in my own marketing materials (for example, on my website or social media), I will obtain written consent before doing so. Any reused testimonials will then be treated in line with the terms above.
Anonymised Data
I may retain data that has been fully anonymised (so that individuals can no longer be identified) for statistical analysis, service improvement, and business planning purposes. Such data is not subject to a fixed retention period and may be retained indefinitely.
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
- Right to rectification – You have the right to request that inaccurate or incomplete data is corrected.
- Right to erasure – You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal or regulatory obligations requiring its retention.
- Right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that processing of your data is restricted.
- Right to object to processing – You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
- Right to data portability – You have the right to request that your personal data is transferred to another organisation or to you.
- Right to withdraw consent – Where consent is the legal basis for processing, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. To exercise any of your rights, please contact contact@organisely.co.uk. I aim to respond within one month in accordance with UK GDPR.
If you are not satisfied with how your data is handled, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
8. Cookies
Our website uses only essential cookies to support basic functionality, security, and performance. These cookies enable core features such as site navigation and access to secure areas and help us understand general website usage in a way that does not identify you personally.
I do not use tracking technologies such as advertising cookies, social media pixels, or similar tools.
If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
9. Updates to This Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
